Vasudeva Biography:
Vasudeva is an improvisational rock band that delivers a dynamic, high- energy live performance. Constantly reinventing their live experience, Vasudeva brings their audience a mix of psychedelic jams, infectious grooves and energetic improvisation.
Formed in October of 2004 by guitarist Greg Nigel and bassist Charles Walsh, Vasudeva began performing throughout the DC area. The members of Vasudeva integrate a multitude of influences which include Led Zeppelin, Phish, Beethoven, Santana, Megadeth and Tool. After experiencing various line-up changes, Vasudeva brought on drummer Mike Andracsek who amplified the energy and helped to define their original sound. In early 2009 Jill Warren completed the group, introducing distinctive vocals and lyrics to the mix.
Having recently completed a demo, Vasudeva seeks to bring the party to new audiences of various persuasions.
